We welcome papers and themed session on any relevant topic, from performing and recording early music in the twenty-first century, to madrigal studies, sources studies, analytical studies, medieval and renaissance music in Basel, to mention only a few. For a long time, historically informed performance, organology as well as forms of visualisation of music (notation, iconography) are the common fields of research of the two organising institutions.
